# Delete your data

How to remove a team, your identity, or a connected mailbox, and what each one does and does not delete.

Last updated 30 October 2026 · Operated by Arkinsta

## Delete a team

1. Open the team, then **More**, **Settings**, **Team settings**.
2. Choose **Delete team**. Only the owner sees this.
3. Read what will happen, including the effect on other members, and confirm.

Access is removed for everyone immediately, imports and syncing stop, and any mailbox connected to that team is disconnected. The app shows the erasure status while the data is removed from our servers.

## Delete your account

You can delete your account in the app under **More**, or here on the web without the app: [delete your account](https://nuzerna.com/delete-account).

Deleting your identity removes your sign-in, your profile, and your membership of other people’s teams. Before you can do it, you need to transfer or delete each team you own.

- Teams owned by other people are not deleted.
- Records you added to someone else’s team stay with that team, without your name attached.
- Mailboxes you connected are disconnected.

## Leave a team

You can leave a team you were invited to at any time. You lose access; the team keeps its records, including ones you added.

## Disconnect a mailbox

Use **Disconnect** on the connection screen. Checking stops and the stored access is cleared. Records already saved are kept; delete those separately if you want them gone. You can also remove Nuzerna from your Google or Microsoft account’s connected apps.

## What deletion cannot do

- **Backups.** Deleted data may remain in routine backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
- **Offline phones.** A phone that had access keeps its offline copy until it next connects, when the copy is cleared.
- **Files you exported.** CSV files you saved or shared are yours to delete.
- **Subscriptions.** Deleting a team does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play.
